were so desperate that they weren’t thinking clearly,
that there was such a mass hysteria over the virus
that they would do anything to try to feel safe.
How else can you justify
the staggering numbers?

to clean one’s lungs with bleach,
thereby rendering one immune to the virus,
poison control centers across the US
got hundreds of reported cases of bleach inhalation?
