It’s biological warfare from the Chinese
They were doing TESTS in Wuhan,
trying to create some freakish weapon
Trump wanted it to spread to kill his political rivals
I’m particularly fond of that last theory,
but it’s just as baseless as the rest.
The Novel Coronavirus wasn’t a test,
it wasn’t political posturing,
and it wasn’t a weapon.
It’s one of those things that just… happens.
Sometimes bad things just happen.
Like a tsunami or an earthquake.
Hard to predict, hard to counteract,
hard to clean up, hard to move on.
Certainly, we could have handled it better;
Chinese officials could have been more transparent,
quarantine protocols could have been more,
and sooner,
but it’s nobody’s fault that we’re facing a crisis
that hasn’t been seen in a hundred years.
So don’t look for a scapegoat.
